What do you know about emotional intelligence?

01/11/2021   //   No Comments

Wikipedia defines emotional intelligence as “the ability to perceive, use, understand, manage, and handle emotions. People with high emotional intelligence can recognise their own emotions and those of others, use emotional information to guide thinking and behaviour, discern between different feelings and label them appropriately, and adjust emotions to adapt to environments.”

Is emotional intelligence or EQ the secret superpower of funeral arranging?

Joanna Williams, Head of Counselling at Professional Help will address this question at SAIF’s Education Day on 10th November in Leicester. It’s open to all those working in the funeral profession, not just SAIF Members and will give the opportunity to learn about key issues affecting the funeral profession including:

  • Update on regulations including preparation for FCA funeral plan regulations
  • IFD College launch of new diploma
  • Diversity and inclusion within the profession
  • Environment and impact on the funeral profession

Attendees can discover the latest product and service offerings from our Associate Members in our exhibition area and enjoy catching up with other funeral professionals members over a delicious lunch.

Further information is here. Bookings must be made by 3rd November either using the Booking Form or online at Eventbrite.
