Dr Sharon McDonnell presented at SAIF’s Education Day in 2017 and funeral directors were instrumental in mobilising responses to the first survey on the important subject of suicide and prevention.  We encourage members to attend this ground breaking conference.

Funeral directors are first responders and SAIF has a partnership with the umbrella charity “support after suicide prevention (SASP)”. 

There are ‘held at hand’ z cards for clients who face this kind of bereavement held in the SAIF Business Centre which are free to members, please contact us for a supply of these.
