Signposting families to bereavement support

There’s a wealth of online materials for bereaved people. Yet research shows that 74% of bereaved people weren’t able to access the help they needed.

SAIF Associate Member AtaLoss provides the UK’s Bereavement Signposting website – ataloss.org 

The charity exists to ensure no bereaved person in the UK is left floundering or alone and unable to find bereavement support when they need it.

In SAIF’s recent webinar, Jane Woodward of AtaLoss explains why the AtaLoss website is an invaluable resource for funeral directors. She also provides helpful pointers about how best to support grieving families/colleagues at the early stages of your relationship with them and why this is important.
