Scam warning for SAIF Members

Members may be surprised to learn that our friendly sea captain is still sailing the world trying to find a funeral director to help him with his poor wife.

A typical email is something like this: “I’m a captain of a fishing vessel and am on sea right now. I will like to use your funeral home for the funeral service of my wife who passed away on the 8th of February 2020 after an automobile accident in…”
