SAIF’s Winter Covid-19 Contingency Plan

SAIF has launched a Winter CoVid-19 Contingency Plan to support our members during this extremely difficult time. The new dedicated support service is available free of charge to all members using a new platform – the SAIF Slack app for smartphones, tablet and PCs.

What is the SAIF CoVid-19 Contingency Plan?

A dedicated team of funeral specialists with extensive experience has been assembled to provide assistance to SAIF funeral directors who experience difficulties with staff or other shortages that may affect the continuity of funeral services during the CoVid Winter. The team are available to provide advice, contacts with other funeral firms, suppliers and resource chains to assist wherever possible.

How do I access the support?

The primary method of contact is through Slack, which is a Smartphone / PC app that has been running successfully for SAIF Scotland members for the last 9 months. All members have been invited to join the Slack group for their geographical area.  Please check your Inbox for the email invitation; you may also need to check the Junk box.
