SAIF welcomes (back) Alun Tucker as National President

SAIF members enjoyed a fantastic weekend at The Grand Hotel in Brighton to congratulate and thank outgoing National President Paul Bowley and his partner Davina Docherty.  In addition to the Annual General Meeting, the event featured a range of educational and informative seminars plus plenty of time to let their hair down at an ‘Evening with Elvis’ and banquet featuring drag queen Dave Lynn and motown group ‘Suprema’.

At the installation of officers on Sunday morning, Alun Tucker FSAIF took on the position of National President, a role he first performed in 2004-5.  Jim Auld was installed as 1st Vice President and Mark Porteous as 2nd Vice President.

A recurring theme of the weekend was the need for unity in the year ahead, which was echoed by Alun, Jim and Mark.
