As part of our ongoing webinar series to help members move to online pricing, Greg Clay of Funeralguide gave a useful presentation on why members should improve their online presence, how to do this and the benefits of joining an online comparison website.

Greg noted that the number of people searching for a funeral director has hugely increased during the pandemic situation, in fact it has become ‘the norm’ to search online. Their findings show that browsers look for pricing information to mainly to establish that a company is not hugely different to other companies in their area but still choose their funeral director based on other features such as which services are offered.

Research also shows that 85% of browsers trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations. SAIF Members may watch the recording on the website:
