SAIF Members invited to Cornwall Bereavement Network
11/12/2019 // No CommentsSAIF has received this information from Penhaligon’s Friends, a charity which supports bereaved children, young people, parents and carers throughout the county. They offer children and young people the chance to meet others and share their experiences, as well as practical resources for children and parents.
Penhaligon’s Friends would like to invite you along to the first meeting of ‘Cornwall Bereavement Network’ on Friday 31st January 2020 at at 2pm – 4pm to be held at Penhaligon’s Friends, Trecarrel, Drump Road, Redruth, TR15 1LU.
We aim to bring together representatives from any service or organisation who support the bereaved:
- To provide a place to network and share best practice.
- To learn about the support available within the county of Cornwall and ultimately ensure the bereaved are provided with the best support.
At this first meeting we would like to spend some time getting to know those around the table and look at what the benefits could be of having regular network meetings. Together we can look at what people would like to get from them and how often we meet.
Please let us know if you would like to attend by emailing us. Feel free to pass on an invitation to anyone else you
feel would be a useful representative to join us.
