Online bereavement training from SAIF Member

SAIF Member Rosedale Funeral Home is planning a series of online courses for supporting bereaved people. All courses take place in the morning & are delivered via ZOOM.

Supporting Those Bereaved by Suicide, Thursday 23rd July 2020 – This is an interactive online workshop that will cover how grief and bereavement is often magnified by death through suicide, which can be quite different and often cause additional difficult emotions such as guilt and shame. Book your place here.

Supporting Those Bereaved in the Workplace, Tuesday 25th August 2020 – Rosedale have been left a very special legacy to spend on supporting bereaved people, and we would like to give you a chance to share in this opportunity to ensure that your workplace is geared up to respond to a death of a member of staff, or indeed how to support a member of staff who has been bereaved.  Book your place here.

Covid-19 Bereavement Support Training, Wednesday 26th August 2020 – This is a comprehensive, interactive, online training session of one and a half hours delivered to a mixed group covering communication and bereavement awareness. Delivered via the Zoom platform by two members of the Rosedale Bereavement Support Team who have training in The Grief Journey, as well as being Mental Health First Aiders and ASSIST trained.  Book your place here.

Supporting Those Bereaved by Suicide, Thursday 3rd September 2020 – The training would be appropriate for a range of professionals including for example blue light services, hospital staff, funeral directors, bereavement counsellors etc. Book your place here.
