NHS Tender Opportunity – 18th October deadline

The NHS North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC) provides collaborative and bespoke procurement solutions to the NHS and other public sector organisations throughout England. 

They have published a new tender opportunity to put in place a framework agreement for Funeral Services for the Healthcare Sector which incorporates both the Funeral Director element and the Burial/Cremation provision for NHS Trusts to utilise. They want to inform all SAIF Members to ensure they obtain full provision for Cemetery and Crematoria throughout the country.

A framework agreement lists appointed providers that have been assessed to deliver products and/or services based on quality and commercial criteria.

The resulting framework agreement will provide a compliant route to market for NHS Trusts and wider public sector organisations to call off their requirements for Funeral Services; ensuring the appointed providers have been pre-approved to deliver the services outlined.

The tender opportunity has been published through the In-tend electronic tendering portal and will remain open until noon on Friday 18^th October 2019.
