New support service for North Central London

Support After Suicide (SAS) have launched a new local service to support those bereaved by suicide. Operating across the 5 boroughs of North Central London (NCL) (Camden, Islington, Haringey, Barnet and Enfield), it is provided by the national charity, Rethink Mental Illness (commissioned by Public health teams across the 5 boroughs).

It offers to those bereaved by suicide, or in any way affected by a suicide, one-one support for both the emotional and the practical aftermath of a suicide.

Individuals can self-refer to the service (or be referred with consent) using referral forms available on their website. There is also a leaflet and poster which can be downloaded.
