Do you need professional training in funeral directing skills?

Do you need professional training in a wide range of funeral related skills? The Independent Funeral Directors’ (IFD) College runs courses for all staff involved in the funeral profession throughout the country.

Units include:

• Health & Safety for Funeral Staff
• Foundation Funeral Practitioner
• Funeral Operative
• Funeral Administrator

Learners who successfully gain a pre-determined combination of units will receive a Certificate in Funeral Practice (Cert.FP) (awarded by external moderator One Awards) and will be eligible to use the letters Cert FP after their name.  The IFD College is supported by SAIF but you don’t need to be employed by a SAIF Member company to take the courses.  Find out more here or contact the College Administrator.
