Imagine being able to find answers to questions specific to your funeral business at the touch of a button. With SAIF’s new communications tool, SAIF SLACK, our members have recently found help with issues such as:

  • Where can I buy FFP2 masks?
  • How do I get my staff vaccinated against Covid-19?
  • What can I do if my staff need to self-isolate?

The SAIF SLACK tool brings all relevant information to one place. You can find information specific to your region or by certain subjects such as Covid-19 Updates or Regulation News. Slack also lets you ask questions of highly experienced funeral professionals and contact SAIF members, all in one place.

Whether you’ve already signed up or not, this webinar will help you get the most out of SAIF SLACK. Declan Maguire has led the successful SAIF SLACK Project roll out across the UK for members. In this beginner’s guide webinar, Declan will show how the tool can be used for rapid communication on your Smart phone, tablet or computer. He’ll be demonstrating:

  • Where to look for updates in your region
  • How to post questions to SAIF or your peers
  • How to pick up SAIF Bulletins on the various channels available.

Additionally, with the General Registers Office (GRO) using electronic registration of deaths, Declan will also give an example of how to develop a digital signature for registrations.
