Kee Cup 25th anniversary at Turnberry

Funeral directors and our trade suppliers gathered
together for the 25th anniversary of the Kee Cup, at the Famous Trump
Turnberry, one of the Open venues and the number 1 UK rated golf course.

The Kee Cup was re-named in 2003 when Gordon Kee, one of the founders of Golden Charter sadly died; it was formerly known as the SAIFInsure Cup.

The competition was first played to enable funeral directors and SAIFInsure to get to know each other, this evolved to include the trade suppliers to our profession and is now regarded as the premium event for golfers for SAIF Members and Associates.

We would like to sincerely thank our trade suppliers who sponsored the event, including Westerleigh Group, Open Funeral Plans, Bradnams Joinery, Legacy Expressions, RNS Publications, Coleman Milne, Cloudberry, Thorley Smith, and of course, SAIFInsure.

The event turned out to be a duel in the sun, with a final score win to the SAIF team of 14-10 and an amazing £1000 was raised for Breast Cancer Care, SAIF National President Jim Auld’s charity of the year.

This event is one not to be missed and any member of SAIF or trade supplier are welcome to join in, you don’t have to be the best golfer in the world, it’s an inclusive event and everyone is welcome, next year venue will be announced very soon, although Turnberry will be an hard act to follow….I am sure we will better it!
