Funeral Planning Authority – new regulations

From the Funeral Planning Authority (FPA):

“Following a consultation, the FPA have now agreed a revised set of Rules and Code of Practice, which will come into force in January 2020. We will We’ll be working with our registered providers until then to ensure they understand what is expected of them, and are able to demonstrate compliance in time for the deadline.

For provider information, we have included the following documents to download:

• A document summarising questions raised throughout the consultation, and our responses
• The revised Rules, showing what changes have been made
• A clean version of the revised Rules
• The revised Code of Practice, showing what changes have been made
• A clean version of the revised Code of Practice”
