SAIF is delighted that Sarah Bates of the Support after Suicide Partnership will be presenting our webinar at 1pm on 23rd May.  Sarah will help members to support families bereaved by suicide. 6,000 people a year die by suicide and every single one of the families visits a funeral director. As the people they face, the funeral director is often the first point of contact who has the time to listen to their story. Funeral Directors often become a place of support for families devastated by suicide.

This webinar will open the door on:

• how you can help families who come to you bereaved by suicide
• some of the challenges
• how you can make sure you are keeping the family, yourselves, and your staff safe
• some of the free resources available to help you give the best service possible.

This webinar will be informative, supportive, helpful, and engaging; and will give you the chance to talk about one of the hardest ways a family can be bereaved. It is free of charge and open to all SAIF members who may book their places here.
