CMA questionnaire closes on 30th August

The CMA would like to understand the nature and extent of any arrangements (formal or informal) between local organisations and funeral directors which may mean that funeral directors are providing services (for example, the initial removal of the deceased to a funeral director’s mortuary) without the knowledge or consent of the deceased’s family.

If you believe you know of any such arrangements, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) would like to hear from you. The CMA has prepared a short questionnaire through which you can provide brief details of the organisation(s) concerned. You will not be asked to provide details of the funeral directors involved. Your answers will be anonymous, will only be seen by the CMA and will be held securely and confidentially.
