A very educational day

Despite Covid set-backs, there was an excellent turnout for SAIF’s Education Day on 10th November at the Leicester Tigers’ ground in Leicester. Attendees learnt about diversity and inclusion in the funeral profession; how funeral directors can reduce their environmental impact; and the importance of emotional intelligence for funeral arrangers. 

A panel of Associate members updated attendees and answered questions on the forthcoming Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)’s funeral plan regulations. The IFD College announced its new diploma and awarded certificates to this year’s students. Congratulations to all of the hard working students who combine their study with work. 

There was also plenty of time for delegates to visit the exhibition stands of SAIF Associates and all enjoyed a delicious meal and meeting up with colleagues in the profession after a year’s break.
