Warning to SAIF Members: avoid Captain Joe’s scam

SAIF highlighted several times during 2017 the email about the captain of a fishing vessel whose wife had passed away on holiday in Texas.  Apparently the fictional sea captain is still at sea and still looking for a funeral company to care for his poor wife.  Our advice is to not waste your time with Captain Joe or any other sea captain who emails you from the USA.
