Warning for SAIF Members about advertising in healthcare publications

SAIF Business Centre thanks Kane Family Funerals in Bradford for bringing to our attention an advertising group which states that it publishes in healthcare outlets. The company were led to believe that they’d be advertising in a publication which would be available at many of her local community’s health outlets.  It turned out that the publication was only mailed out to a limited number of places, and then only, when the outlet requested it.

Kane Family Funerals urge other SAIF members to ask for evidence of circulation before agreeing to a similar advertising deal in their local area.  The additional warning is to make administration staff aware of in-coming calls selling advertising space and not to agree to anything verbally.
