All Party Parliamentary Group for Funerals and Bereavement annual report published

SAIF members will be interested to learn that the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Funerals and Bereavement (APPGFB) in Westminster, of which SAIF is a leading member, has published its Annual Report.

The document, which can be downloaded here, charts a momentous year in the funeral profession as it rose to the challenge of the pandemic and changing funeral trends.

With a foreword from APPGFB Chair Sir John Hayes MP, the report also covers different faith approaches and environmental developments – and takes a look at the people of the profession, with a case study on SAIF Executive Committee member Simon Helliar-Moore, of Crescent Funeral Services in Somerset.
