HIGH Speed 2 needs huge exhumation programme

The Camden New Journal reports that HIGH Speed 2 will be unearthing the remains of around 40-50,000 of Camden’s dead during one of the country’s biggest exhumation programmes.  Archaeologists are working in St James’s Gardens in Cardington Street, which will be replaced by an entrance to a new HS2 station being built on the west side of Euston station.
