Midlands Regional Meeting – 26th May 2022

SAIF Regional Meetings

26th May – Waseley Hills Crematorium

The last two years have been extremely difficult for funeral directors and there are still many challenges ahead. In particular, the huge growth of direct cremations since the pandemic has led to a much more competitive market place.

Independents need to show that they offer direct cremation as part of a range of funeral options. They can demonstrate that if the direct route is chosen, they provide a high level of professionalism and local care and support, from initial arrangements through to care of the family after the funeral. This is in stark contrast to an online-only provider.

As SAIF Members, you are at the heart of your community, not simply an anonymous webpage, so let’s celebrate what you do best. Join your local SAIF meeting to learn how to raise your independent profile above the larger brands.

The session will include:

  • News of SAIF Digital – a service to help you maximise your spend on websites and social media
  • Updates about the funeral profession – ensuring you’re prepared for the challenges ahead
  • Sharing great ideas and best practice

Enjoy a buffet meal, catch up with local SAIF Members and meet Terry Tennens, SAIF’s Chief Executive and Jo Parker, SAIF’s National President 2022/23. Jo will be highlighting and fundraising for her Charity of the Year, Papyrus.
