Business rates are changingSeptember 16, 2016 // No Comments
The Valuation Office Agency (VOA) is currently updating the rateable values of all non-domestic properties in England and Wales. Your local authority will use these new rateable values to calculate business rates bills for 2017-18. Failure to check your details may result in you paying an incorrect amount in business rates. Over 150,000 businesses have already signed up to receive a reminder in the autumn, letting them know the draft rateable values are online.
Businesses in England and Wales can register online with the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) to get a reminder when the Valuation Office Agency publishes draft rateable values this autumn. You can go to Gov.uk to find out more about the Revaluation and sign up to the free reminder service.
