According to the mental health charity MIND, mental health problems like anxiety, depression and unmanageable stress affect one in six British workers each year. In 2013, there were 8.2 million cases of anxiety in the UK, and this number is increasing – in part due to our busier, longer working lives. The government’s website FitForWork deals with anxiety in the work-place including suggestions as to how to identify whether there are higher levels of anxiety in your own business.
