What does the happiest person in the UK look like?April 22, 2016 // No Comments
The Office of National Statistics (ONS) has recently published its findings on Personal Well-Being in the UK 2014-15, which looks at five measurements of happiness. The measurements are:
Age: people aged between 65 and 74 were rated as being the happiest
Marital status: happiest were those who are married or in a civil partnership
Health: unsurprisingly, the happiest people self-reported themselves as being healthy
Economic activity: those in employment were rated as happiest
Area of the UK: those living in Northern Ireland appeared to be the happiest, although only by a small margin.
