SAIF offers a huge thanks and bids goodbye to Chas Nethercott

Charles (Chas) Nethercott has been a mainstay of SAIF since the very first meeting at Nan’s Pantry in Ilford back in 1989.  In the early days, Chas spent many, many hours driving the length and breadth of the UK recruiting members into this excellent Society of ours.

Awarded the Fellowship of SAIF at the Annual General Meeting at Cardiff in March 2005, Chas ‘I will never be President’ Nethercott succumbed to a little pressure and was elected National President in 2007.  Additionally, Chas has served as Chairman of both the membership & standards Committees as well being a constant source of help with premises inspections.  In addition to his work with SAIF, Chas has been actively involved in Golden Charter and at the time of his resignation is SAIF’s representative on the SAIFCHARTER Executive committee.

We offer Chas a very sincere thank you for 26 years of dedicated service and wish him well for the future.
