Gemma’s West Highland Way Challenge Starts todayJune 1, 2015 // No Comments
SAIF wishes National President Gemma O’Driscoll and her team well at the start of their ambitious challenge of completing the West Highland Way in only 3 days.
The West Highland Way is 96 miles or 154 km from Milngavie to Fort William and the official website states that the average time taken to complete is six to seven days – so the team have set themselves a massive target to achieve. The hard work starts today and Gemma will be keeping you up to date via Twitter as and when possible.
All funds raised will go to Gemma’s chosen charities for the year: Epilepsy Action and Child Bereavement UK, so please give generously to help these incredibly worthwhile charities. You may support the team by donating safely via WorldPay with a debit or credit card online here. You may also find out more about the charities here.
