Welcome to new SAIF MembersApril 27, 2015 // No Comments
For more than 80 years the Weekes family have provided a dignified and personal funeral service for the Rame Peninsula in Cornwall. My grandfather, who was the local joiner, started the business because he made the coffins. This was then taken on by my father who was involved with his own building business. I joined at the age of sixteen and we traded as Builders and Funeral Directors. When I retired from the building business I concentrated solely on funerals, and aged 71, I built a new funeral parlour hoping my son or grandson will soon carry on the family name.
I joined SAIF as I think it will keep me in touch with this ever-changing world we now live in.
