100% of attendees recommend the SAIF Education DayNovember 7, 2014 // No Comments
“An excellent day; looking forward to next one.”
This was just one of the positive comments we received following SAIF’s Education Day held on 5th November at Leicester Tigers Rugby Club ground in Leicester. Feedback showed that 100% of attendees found the meeting very useful and would recommend future SAIF education days to colleagues in the funeral profession.
SAIF’s Executive Chairman, Alun Tucker says, “I’m delighted by how well the education day went. We had over fifty attendees and were supported by 14 Associate members. During the day, our subjects ranged from supporting the bereaved to funeral apprenticeships. Additionally we discussed how the funeral profession can help to reduce funeral poverty in conjunction with Quaker Social Action; this is an important campaign supported by SAIF.”
Presentations were given by organisations from a wide range of backgrounds including Grief Journey, Child Bereavement UK, Preston’s College, Quaker Social Fund / Down to Earth, National Aids Trust and the Independent Funeral Directors’ College. SAIF Members may view the presentations by logging on to the Members’ Area.
