Tread SAIFly with UK Phone

A SAIF member recently reported that he had inadvertently been tricked into advertising in The UK Phone (internet), thinking it was the BT Phone Book, in which he does advertise.

The mistake became clear when the member checked his bank statement and found a second payment for VAT.  At this point he realised that the payment was for an internet advert.  The company received no confirmation or invoice through the post or by e-mail, in fact no paperwork at all from The  It seems that the member is unable to cancel the arrangement or get a refund, but our solicitors at SAIFResolve are looking into the case.
