Premises inspections for SAIF Scotland MembersJuly 30, 2014 // No Comments
All members of SAIF should have their premises inspected once every three years to maintain the high standards upheld by SAIF and to ensure that our members meet current statutory regulations.
For reasons beyond our control, inspections in Scotland have fallen behind schedule. To remedy this, the Scottish Executive Committee have agreed to carry out these inspections using the same criteria as the current premises and compliance officers. It is hoped that all premises will be inspected by October.
Please don’t be surprised or alarmed if you get a call from a member of the Executive to make arrangements to carry out an inspection. Remember that inspections are designed to help your business, not to ‘catch you out’. Once the inspections are up to date, inspections will return to a rolling programme.
