Scottish funeral directors make your views known – meeting on 1st April in Stirling

March 22, 2017   //   No Comments

SAIF Scotland and NAFD Scotland will be hosting a debate on 1st April at Stirling aimed at practising funeral directors in Scotland.  Free to attend for SAIF and NAFD members, the event will provide delegates with an opportunity to inform the Scottish Government’s thinking as it develops statutory regulation of the profession. The Scottish funeral profession is to be regulated by the Scottish Government as a result of the passing of the Burial and Cremation (Scotland) Act 2016.

Come along and find out how regulation will affect your business, what registration might mean and how you will need to meet new standards and quality assurance requirements. With statutory powers in the pipeline to allow those who don’t get it right to be stopped from trading, regulation will radically change the way you do business.

The event will take place at the Stirling Court Hotel in Stirling on 1st April.  For more details, click here.
